Casa de Esperanza  has been providing services in the northern California counties of Sutter, Yuba, and Colusa since 1977.  We are a Shelter & Counseling  Facility for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse.  There are no charges for services provided to survivors.

Casa de Esperanza
holds the vision and mission of the elimination of domestic violence, sexual assault , intimate partner violence and child abuse through prevention, intervention, and treatment. It is our firm belief that
all persons, regardless of race, ethnicity sexual orientation, gender, disability, immigration status, religious or affiliation, age, lifestyle preference, and class deserve a life free from intimate and personal violence and should have equal access to our programs and services. We will continue to build and maintain ongoing relationships with area agencies, advocacy groups, and service providers. We continuously strive to provide consistent and culturally competent training for advocacy staff, executives, and board members. We endeavor to recruit and hire staff and volunteers from all diverse populations and provide a positive, culturally aware, and accessible workplace. Through this vision we will continue to create a safe place free from
violence for all people.

Casa de Esperanza has staff who speak Spanish, Punjabi, Hmong, Hindi, and German as well as an advocate skilled in Sign Language.  All languages may not be available 24-hours a day.
